At Amendo, we are continuously looking for engaged and driven individuals in AML for upcoming assignments in the Gothenburg area.

We collaborate with several of the region's leading players in banking, finance, and insurance, which means that you as an AML Officer, AML Specialist, or AML Investigator can receive assignments that truly develop you and broaden your skills.

Typical responsibilities and tasks may include:

• Investigation and analysis of suspicious transactions and customer behaviors

• Know Your Customer (KYC), risk classification, and follow-up

• Handling of internal and external reporting according to applicable regulations

• Ongoing monitoring and quality assurance of AML-related processes

• Participation in projects related to compliance, improvement work, and internal controls

Qualifications and characteristics

We are looking for someone with experience in AML work within banking, finance, or insurance. You may be at the beginning of your AML journey or have several years of experience; we have needs for different profiles depending on the assignment.

We believe you have:

• Experience working with AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, or investigations

• Good knowledge of regulations such as the Money Laundering Act and FATF recommendations

• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Relevant education in fields such as law, economics, criminology, or equivalent

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in the role:

• Analytical curiosity – you enjoy digging into details to understand the big picture

• Attention to detail combined with integrity – to make accurate, well-founded decisions

• Communication skills – you often need to explain complex issues in a simple way

• Structured working method – as a large part of AML work is based on processes and documentation
