We are looking for specialist nursing assistants to Vardaga unit Villa Stallgången

Do you want to make a real difference? We are now looking for three specialist nursing assistants with different specializations: dementia, rehabilitation, and health and medical care (HSL). The working hours are between 75–100%, starting as agreed.

With us, you are a key person in the team around our residents. You work closely with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and group leaders and are an important part of both everyday care and planned interventions.

About Villa Stallgången

The residence is centrally located within walking distance to the city center. Adjacent is Rothoffsparken with opportunities for physical activity and recreation.

The residence has 60 apartments distributed across 6 departments, 30 dementia and 30 somatic places. Floor 2 has 10 dementia and 10 somatic places. Here we want to provide our residents with care that has heart, integrity, and choice - where every day is equally important.

•  We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and communication through Vardaga's Dementia Academy.
•  We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the lives of our residents.
•  You have a group leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a specialist nursing assistant.
•  Here we work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy dogs.
•  We are constantly working to come up with new, exciting activities for our residents. For example, we have introduced VR technology that allows for various travel experiences, adventures, or games through VR glasses. Read more about Vardaga's VR initiative here: Around the world in 40 minutes.

As a specialist nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!

As a specialist nursing assistant with us, you create quality of life every day by providing individualized care. You strengthen habits and lifestyles so that the resident can continue to be themselves, and you work person-centered with a focus on understanding each individual's needs. You document in the social journal, participate in care planning, and actively contribute to development and competence in the entire team. You also have an important role in supporting and guiding your colleagues in daily work, so that together we create a safe and meaningful everyday life for our residents.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a trained specialist nursing assistant and have a particular interest in dementia care, rehabilitation, or health and medical care. You have a strong commitment to elderly care, are attentive, secure in your role, and meet others with respect and empathy. You value good collaboration and are happy to share your knowledge to strengthen the team and develop the operation.
