Welcome to develop with us. The contact operations have escort, respite, and contact person assignments for children, youth, and adults under LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) as well as for adults under SoL (the Social Services Act).

Having an escort or respite is voluntary and can be offered to both children, youth, and adults. Decisions are made with support from LSS or SoL.

Your mission
As an escort, you help and support a child, youth, or adult with functional variations to participate in community life outside their home and facilitate contact with other people. This could involve participating in various leisure activities, meeting friends, going to the movies, practicing public transport, or simply taking a walk. The purpose of the intervention is to break the social isolation that can result from having a functional variation.

As an escort in this assignment, you will help a male service user in his 70s to engage in various activities, such as going to the theater, visiting cafes, and restaurants.

What we are looking for in you
You do not need any formal education or special experience to become an escort, but you should have social skills, be attentive, and have the ability to provide the right support.

As a person, you are empathetic, responsible, and reliable. You are proactive, can work independently, and have the ability to build good relationships with others. Since you will be working closely with individuals, it is important to have a long-term perspective on the assignment.

Compensation
This assignment is suitable for you who want to work a few extra hours a week. You will be compensated per hour and for certain expenses related to the assignment, such as costs for snacks or bus tickets.
