As a social worker VINR, you will work in the adult unit at the Social Services (IFO) with a particular focus on domestic violence. The adult unit's work encompasses several important areas: domestic violence, substance abuse, and crime. Your immediate workgroup consists of four social workers and is led by a unit manager and a group leader. We are a pleasant workgroup that has worked together and we continuously invest in developing both our operations and our employees. Due to several of our employees planning to go on parental leave, we can now welcome a new employee to a permanent position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker with us, you will be responsible for handling cases concerning adults exposed to domestic violence, honor-related issues, and to some extent, relatives of criminals. The work involves both managing acute situations and working long-term to plan and implement measures to support our clients sustainably.

Your tasks include assessing needs according to the Social Services Act (SoL), documenting and following up on measures to ensure that individuals receive the right support. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with other units such as Children and Youth and external actors such as sheltered housing, healthcare, the police, and other authorities. Additionally, you will receive close supervision from a team leader with many years of experience in working with domestic violence, providing you with valuable guidance and support in your daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work or another equivalent education and experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience as a social worker within an authority.
• Experience as a VINR caseworker (strongly meritorious) and work in sheltered housing (meritorious).
• Further education in VINR, such as MI, perpetrators of violence, or child education (meritorious).
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience working in the Lifecare operational system (meritorious).

As a person, you are stable and structured, even under high workloads. You handle unpredictable situations and have the ability to prioritize and maintain focus. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team where you communicate effectively and achieve results together with others. You are considerate and meet both colleagues and clients with respect and professionalism. You have good analytical skills, which is particularly important for understanding and managing complex situations within VINR and making accurate assessments.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has worked with VINR for a while and is seeking a new workplace where you can be challenged more, supported with what you need, and thrive in an engaged administration. Even those with experience in authority exercise and a strong interest in the issue should apply.
