Hello!

I am a cheerful soon-to-be 79-year-old woman with a congenital cerebral palsy condition since birth. I am now looking for a new assistant on Wednesdays regularly, and it would also be great if you, who are applying for this position, could also work as a substitute. I have speech difficulties, balance issues, and fine motor skill challenges in my arms, hands, and legs.

I am very spastic on certain days depending on how I feel, especially if there is a lot of stress around me. I sit in an electric wheelchair indoors and use a Permobil outdoors.

I can stand on my legs if you hold me by both hands during transfers and when dressing and undressing. I can eat by myself but need to be fed on my bad days. So there are no heavy lifts.

But I am very youthful and cheerful and have a sense of humor, so it is good if you also have humor, can joke and laugh, are cheerful, and easy to learn new things, which makes my day easier.

I have very good self-esteem and am outgoing. I like when things happen and to keep active; I do not like to sit still. Of course, I can take it easy sometimes too.

You are welcome to be a woman in your prime between 40 and 50 years old who is looking for this position as a substitute and one day a week, which is Wednesdays, and have a general understanding of what it means to work as a personal assistant. It is also important that you are attentive, stress-resistant, meticulous, and reliable. Being meticulous while working and being self-sufficient is essential, and I do not require any formal education. However, it is good if you have some insight into the job.

This job is like working at home, meaning regular household chores that you do at your own home, as well as helping me with what I cannot manage myself. So the job is not difficult with me.

It is good if you are calm and do not stress if something happens. I also see that you can step in as a substitute both day and night. The most important thing is that we get along well, or rather click at first sight, as that is both A and O since we will work closely together.

As for my many interests, I enjoy going dancing, love dance music, photography, writing, and my two cats who shed but are loved nonetheless. There is a vacuum cleaner to get rid of all the cat hair, as I usually say, walking, going to markets and flea markets, home decor, keeping my home clean and tidy, and going shopping.

I am very interested in data and am computer savvy. You do not need to share all my interests, but it would be desirable to have a general understanding since you will be functioning as my extended arms and legs.

I am my own employer and run a sole proprietorship with Nära AB. My shifts are scheduled into two shifts, one day shift from 12-16:30 and one night shift from 20-08. I prefer that you can be flexible.

Another request is that you enjoy cooking traditional home-cooked meals and baking.

Lastly, I should mention that I have allergies such as asthma-related dust and mite allergies, so you should not wear any fragrances and be neutral, in other words.
