About Us

The Orthopedic Clinic operates at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna and Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm, employing around 100 staff including doctors, administrative personnel, nurses, and nursing assistants. The clinic assesses and treats diseases and injuries related to the musculoskeletal system. Our services include prosthetic, trauma, foot, hand, spine, pediatric, and arthroscopic surgery. Our patients come from all age groups.

We are looking for

a full-time or part-time operating room nurse who wants to help further develop our outpatient surgeries under local anesthesia. We have a trauma, hand, and foot surgery department that is expanding, and our goal is to continue developing the surgical aspect of local anesthesia.

Your Responsibilities

• Organize and order instruments/implants for outpatient surgeries under local anesthesia, prepare for surgery, and perform standard tasks in the operating department for orthopedic surgery.
• Be involved in driving improvement and quality work within the outpatient services.
• The role involves a shared position as a nurse/operating room nurse at the orthopedic outpatient clinic.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with specialized training in operating room nursing. You take initiative and responsibility for your own tasks as well as for the overall operation. You have good collaboration skills and spread positive energy to your surroundings. You will have great opportunities to develop yourself and your work environment. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement.
