We are now looking for a production planner who wants to work as a summer intern with us during the summer of 2025.

This position lasts from June to the end of August. You will work with a team of 4 people, and your working hours will be scheduled during the day between 8 AM and 4:30 PM.

What do we do in the Production Planning department?

In the department, we are responsible for planning, monitoring, and optimizing production on our paper machines. Our work aims to meet customer demands for quality and delivery while striving for high productivity and efficient resource utilization.

Job Description

As a production planner, you will be responsible for confirming orders, planning production, and following up on results for one or more paper machines. Your work will take place in our planning system where you optimize production considering trim utilization, inventory situation, as well as changeover and delivery costs. The role involves close contact with production, customer service centers, allocation managers, and delivery planners.

You will work with:

• Fast and accurate order confirmations.
• Optimization of trim utilization and inventory management.
• Follow-up of OTIF (On Time In Full) to ensure delivery precision.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Ongoing or completed high school education with passing grades.
• Good computer skills and system understanding.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• It is an advantage if you have ongoing or completed higher education in supply chain management, logistics, economics, and/or experience in similar tasks.
• If you have experience working in business systems, it will be highly valued.
