About the role as Coordinator

In the role of coordinator, you primarily work to provide support and service based on the residents' wishes and to give each individual a meaningful everyday life, based on a pedagogical approach. You also work with administrative tasks such as scheduling, staffing, quality improvements, risk assessments, and documentation.

You will have close collaboration with the operations manager and maintain close contact with the staff group. Your role will be central in supporting the daily operations of the business. You provide support and service both at home and in leisure activities and develop the pedagogical support based on individual needs.

Responsibilities:

As a coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Staffing
• Quality work
• Method work
• Planning

As a support assistant, you will work with:

• Providing support and assistance in the daily life of our residents.
• Regular tasks included in residential support.

Who are we looking for?

You preferably have experience from LSS, but otherwise, you have knowledge of pedagogical approaches and how to meet individuals with various disabilities. You are attentive and communicative, and you understand that these become important tools for a good and clear response towards both residents and relatives. As a colleague, you actively contribute to a positive and forward-looking work climate. You naturally see opportunities instead of obstacles and have a very good ability to adapt to new situations. You can work both independently and in a team with your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
• Previous experience in supervisory roles and a natural ability to lead and drive development issues.
• Experience working within LSS
• Post-secondary education, e.g., support pedagogue, social pedagogue, university education in pedagogy or social work.
• Experience with Medvind and Epsilon

It is meritorious if you also have

• Experience and competence in clarifying pedagogy, AAC, and low-arousal approaches.
• Experience working with individuals with complex psychosocial behavioral issues.

Employment conditions

Employment type: Permanent employment, with a 6-month probationary period applied.Working hours: 80%.Working time: Rolling schedule covering days, evenings, and weekends.Start date: By agreement, we are positive if you can start shortly.Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
