Your Mission

As a care assistant in home care, you will be part of another person's daily life in your work. You will perform nursing, care, and service tasks to support users in their homes so they can live a meaningful, independent, and active life. In your work, you will also perform tasks delegated by nurses and rehabilitation staff. This means you need to take the necessary delegations to be able to perform the work.

The work is carried out based on a rehabilitative approach where you always start from the user's own abilities to improve their quality of life.

Documentation is done in the LifeCare journal system.

You will be employed on a working time measure of 37 hours/week with duty every other weekend; working hours may include both evening and day shifts, depending on the needs of the operation. Currently, the ambition is to staff evening shifts. However, this may change over time based on needs.

Your Experience

• You are a trained care assistant with approved grades
• You master the Swedish language in speech and writing, and have good reading comprehension
• You have good computer skills
• You can cycle

It is an advantage if:

• You have previous experience in the profession
• You have previously had various delegations

To be employed as a care assistant, you need to present the certificate of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

About the Workplace

The home care in Eslöv municipality consists of four different units: Väster, Norr, Öster, and Ytter.

Väster, Norr, and Öster work within the city of Eslöv, while Ytter operates in the municipality's outskirts. All units' offices are within walking distance from the train station with good train connections from Malmö and Lund.

In home care, you as a care assistant will have close collaboration with the area-responsible nurse and rehabilitation staff.

All professions work together with the user's well-being in focus.
