Mellerud and Bengtsfors dare to think outside the box and are embarking on new paths to solve future competence supply and secure the development work of social services! Starting this fall, the municipalities will have a joint management and leadership of the social area. The social area for Mellerud and Bengtsfors is led by a social manager and is divided into five operational areas: individual and family care, residential care, support and service (LSS and social psychiatry), and staff and administration. Through collaboration, opportunities are created to share both management positions and specialist competencies in a way that is advantageous for both municipalities. There is great benefit in the collaboration as many issues related to quality development and quality management systems are similar in the municipalities, especially at an overarching level. We are now looking for three investigation secretaries who want to continue developing the quality work within Children and Youth at IFO.

In the Children and Youth unit, eight social workers work with investigations and four reception secretaries handle reports/applications of concern. We are a group of social workers with a strong commitment to the individuals, children, and families we meet. In a smaller municipality, the distances between operations are shorter, and we always work for close collaboration in all directions.

Job responsibilities

The job responsibilities include regular handling according to the Social Services Act, LVU, and other tasks occurring in the authority exercise group. For example, conducting investigations, deciding on interventions, following up on interventions, participating in collaboration meetings with the municipality's partners, etc.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent.

The position requires you to have very good knowledge of the legislation SoL and LVU and experience in the field. You must have fluent knowledge of Swedish and a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

You need to have a good ability to create and maintain trusting relationships, both in relation to those we meet and in relation to the workgroup and other partners. To handle the various situations that may arise in the work, you also need to be flexible, solution-focused, and enjoy collaborating across organizational boundaries with the client's needs in focus. You are confident as a person and feel comfortable making independent decisions based on applicable legislation, while also being responsive to the workgroup's need for collaboration and development. We will therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driving license B is a requirement.
