JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently looking for a support pedagogue for our Housing with Special Services in Majorna. The residence accommodates individuals with complex needs with diagnoses within the autism spectrum, neuropsychiatric, and mental disabilities.

We work on the premise that our tenants should be involved and have the opportunity to influence how their day looks and what they need support with. The work includes pedagogical support in daily life such as personal care as well as common household tasks like laundry and cooking. We offer you a varied and stimulating position with a lot of personal responsibility. The tasks also include medication delegation and documentation in the Treserva system. We use working methods LAB, AAC, and clarifying pedagogy. By being there as support for our users, you contribute to a meaningful everyday life.

You will have a central role in the quality development and systematic improvement work of the operations, including supporting support assistants in the establishment of implementation plans and social documentation. You will establish working methods and ensure that these are used and developed effectively while maintaining contact with outpatient psychiatric departments and other authorities.

You will work on a schedule where working hours may vary between day, evening, and weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a support pedagogue education, post-secondary education specializing in the disability field such as support pedagogue, activation pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. The education should comprise at least 200 YH points or at least 60 higher education credits or a combination in between that corresponds to at least two semesters of full-time studies. It is important that you have good computer skills and are comfortable working with various IT support as well as having a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

You have previously worked in care and support with a focus on support services, which is a requirement. You should also be good at leading groups and able to take personal responsibility. It is also important that you are accommodating and have a positive attitude in your professional role. If you work in a structured manner, have good collaboration skills, and can take your own initiatives within the framework of the assignment, this is highly valued. To communicate with tenants, colleagues, and to document, you need to master the Swedish language in speech and writing.

If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test user Educateit.
