Ottobock Care is one of Sweden's largest orthopedic technical operations with centers in 20 locations across Sweden and is part of Ottobock, one of the world's leading suppliers in orthopedic technology. We receive patients via referrals as well as private individuals in need of prosthetics, orthoses, seating aids, and orthopedic shoes or insoles. Ottobock Care in Kristianstad is part of Ottobock Care Sweden AB. We have agreements with Region Skåne to conduct orthopedic technical operations. In Kristianstad, we are 17 employees, proud of our broad competence and effective working methods. We work with most orthopedic aids and services available. Everything from insoles and shoes to corsets and prosthetics. The work is carried out in close collaboration with healthcare through, among other things, team cooperation. Our catchment area covers residents from Hässleholm in the north to Ystad in the south.

About the position

You will work with an engaged team that values collaboration and problem-solving. The role means you are the face of the organization and the one who gives the first impression of us as a healthcare provider and company. As a receptionist, you handle incoming referrals, greet booked patients and incoming phone calls, and perform administrative work. You manage appointment bookings, emails, and support for our clinical case managers. Periodically, there is high pressure, and you will handle many tasks simultaneously. The role also includes managing cash work, appointment booking, patient contact, and various administrative tasks. We work in both internal systems and the region's various IT support.

We are looking for an additional resource for our work in reception. The position is part-time at 50%, with working hours arranged by agreement. The work is enjoyable and varied, and together with engaged colleagues, you will make a positive difference for our fellow human beings.

The employment is a permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period. The placement is at the office in Kristianstad. Working hours are according to schedule, daytime. There is no possibility for hybrid or remote work. The position is available immediately as agreed. We have a collective agreement, which means you are covered by collectively agreed insurance.

About you

You who are applying have at least a high school diploma. You have documented experience working in a reception, which includes both administrative work and handling incoming and outgoing phone calls. You have good computer skills and are used to working in systems. It is an advantage if you have experience in healthcare-related professions and work in Region Skåne's patient systems such as PASIS and Sesam. You are proficient in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.

As a person, you are calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations while being able to focus. You have a good ability to show understanding and put yourself in someone else's perspective without taking over the person's feelings. When a problem arises, you focus your energy on finding solutions and maintain your focus on the goal.
