This is your mission

As an operational administrator, you will work as a hub within the organization, and it is you that managers and employees turn to for administrative questions.

Since your tasks are largely determined by the needs of the organization, no two workdays are alike. During a workday, you will take on varying tasks, solve quick questions while also working long-term and strategically. This allows you to continuously learn new things and develop in your role.

During your workday, you will handle incoming documents and ensure they reach the correct recipients. You will prepare decisions and handle referrals, be responsible for bookings, and manage incoming emails. A significant part of the work also involves protocol and record-keeping. You will also work with coding, purchasing, and reviewing invoices.

As your work involves several parties, both internal and external, collaboration and cooperation are central to your role and a prerequisite for succeeding in the mission.

Your placement is at the regional office in Umeå, and the work is performed on-site, which means you cannot work remotely. Travel within Sweden may occur.

These are the qualifications we seek from you

• Completed upper secondary education with approved results
• At least two years of experience in administrative tasks as a primary occupation in the last four years
• Good experience using a computer as a working tool, including the Office suite
• Experience in tasks that require structure and order
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license, at least category B

If you are applying, you may also have skills that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute something or several of the following, it is meritorious:

• Experience in case management and digital case management systems
• Experience from working in public administration
• Experience in environments with high security requirements
• Experience in the areas of the Security Police
• Experience in crime-fighting legal areas
• Experience working as management support
• Familiarity with working in a technology-intensive environment

The Security Police has high demands for security and confidentiality, so we expect you to have a high level of security awareness.

Employment conditions

Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment with the Security Police involves placement in a security class. Employment also requires a satisfactory result in the security screening with background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a war situation.
