Medical Secretary Wanted at Geriatric Center

The Geriatric Center is a specialist clinic for patients needing both acute and planned geriatric care and rehabilitation. A comprehensive assessment of the older patient's medical, physical, psychological, and social functional capacity during illness is performed by interprofessional teams. Diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation are conducted in inpatient and outpatient care with the patient's individual needs in focus.

We are now looking for a medical secretary for a temporary position, 100%, until 2025-08-31.

Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary with us, you provide important service and enable interventions that affect many.

Your work will include writing medical records, patient administration, handling referrals, medical records, and 1177. Depending on your skill profile and interests, other assignments may be assigned to facilitate the continued development of our operations.

We have close collaboration with other staff and departments within the Geriatric Center, and you will be part of a team with experienced medical secretaries. The job also involves providing good service to colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary or healthcare administrator. Experience with NCS Cross and/or diagnosis classification is an advantage. Information and communication are a significant part of the job, so you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language.

You are a self-driven person who takes responsibility for your tasks in a structured manner. Your approach is service-oriented, meaning you are attentive and respond to both colleagues and patients in a helpful way. You place great importance on maintaining high quality in your work, for example in dictation writing. Since we work in teams closely with many other colleagues and various professional groups, it is essential that you have good collaboration skills.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
