About the company

The company has been in the von Ahn family since 1998. It is run by Magnus & Sara. The pawnshop provides loans to individuals against personal property as collateral. Gold jewelry is the most common item pawned. 80% reclaim their items. Items not reclaimed are sold at our popular online auctions, in the webshop, or in-store.

About the job

The tasks include customer service at the counter and over the phone. Evaluation of jewelry in precious metals, watches, fashion items, collectibles, and other valuable items. Loan administration. Preparation and execution of our popular online auctions held weekly; including photography and image processing.

Qualifications

A friendly attitude and a big heart are essential. You should be curious, meticulous, have an open mind, be assertive, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Experience in a jewelry store or auction business is highly advantageous. However, experience in customer-facing service roles such as sales is a good foundation as the job revolves around interacting with people. The rest will be taught on-site.

About the position

Part-time 75%; weekdays 11-17.

Fixed monthly salary

Start date in early 2025
