We are now looking for a residential support worker for a temporary position at Källbovägen group home.

Källbovägen group home is located in Tillberga, Västerås. The group home for individuals with disabilities has 5 apartments.

Your role as a residential support worker is crucial with a focus on providing quality of life. You support, motivate, and encourage the individuals you work with and help them lead good and independent lives. Together, you engage in practical daily activities such as practicing everyday tasks.

You are relationship-building and have a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have problem-solving analytical skills, work well with complex issues, and can quickly analyze situations and make decisions. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner while enjoying collaborating with other professionals, always keeping the individual in focus.

You are closest to the resident and thus play a key role in the team with the nurse, development pedagogue, colleagues, coordinators, and the operations manager. You also participate in the establishment of implementation plans and write social documentation.

Who are you?

-You are a trained residential support worker/nursing assistant and have worked for a few years in disability care.

-You have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

-You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

-You are attracted to a varied job and enjoy meeting individuals with disabilities in different situations.

-You are a creative person who dares to think independently and take responsibility.

-You enjoy working both individually and in a team, as well as supporting and collaborating with your colleagues.

-You are meticulous and engaged, have a pedagogical and low-arousal approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere.

Position scope: 70-75%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting.

Start date: 2024-02-01 or by agreement.

-You submit grades and certificates for completed high school programs with vocational qualifications in the care and nursing program or the child and leisure program or other equivalent education assessed by the employer.

-You prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
