About the assignment and the candidate we are looking for
Do you want to take on a key role in a global company with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and high People & Culture ambitions? We are now looking for a strategic and operational interim HR leader at the group level who will drive and further develop the People & Culture work at the group level in an international environment for one year.
Location: Central Stockholm · Scope: 100% Assignment duration: 12 months Start: September 2025
This is a consulting assignment during a parental leave, where you will have overall responsibility for leading and further developing the global HR work within an organization with a structured HR model based on central shared service functions and regional HR hubs in North America, Europe, and Asia/MENA. The assignment combines strategic leadership, change management, and operational support to both the HR team and the management group. You will lead the global People team, have personnel responsibility for six direct reports, and report to the CEO. You are a strategic partner to the management, sit on the HR committee, and are responsible for ensuring that both the daily HR delivery and long-term initiatives maintain high quality and are well anchored in the business.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Lead the global People & Culture function and be an advisor to the management team.
- Drive strategic HR programs (performance, succession, compensation & engagement)
- Support and coordinate the regional HR hubs and shared service functions, focusing on ensuring high-quality delivery throughout the organization.
- Act as HRBP for shared service functions globally (~180 people)
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between the company's various parts while actively promoting a strong culture and employee experience.
- Serve as a link to the board on HR and compensation-related issues.
- Optimize HR systems, reporting, internal communication, and TA processes.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has extensive experience leading a global HR function.
- Is used to operating in fast-paced, complex, and agile environments – preferably within tech, gaming, or creative industries.
- Has experience with matrix organizations and working in international HR centers.
- Is operational, unpretentious, and confident in both change management and daily operations.
- Has experience working closely with the CEO/board and driving compensation programs.
- Is communicative, solution-oriented, and a natural relationship builder.

This assignment requires a proactive person with courage, tactical sense, and good collaboration skills, who thrives in an environment where structure is built while delivery occurs. You will become a key person in an important phase – both in the maturity of the HR function and in the company's group structure.
