We are now strengthening the Omexom Rail Project with an electrical technician. The Omexom Rail Project works with railway infrastructure with expertise in signaling, telecommunications, electricity, and contact lines. Our workshop manufactures technical houses, kiosks, and cabinets for railways, trams, and subways, with high quality and delivery reliability.

ABOUT THE ROLE We are now looking for a traveling electrical technician for the Omexom Rail Project. As an electrical technician, you will work on contracts for the new construction and renovation of electrical systems within the railway sector. 

Your main responsibilities include:

• Installation of electrical systems: Assembly and configuration of technical equipment that controls railway traffic.
• New construction and renovation of electrical systems.
• Troubleshooting and testing to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaboration with other technicians and engineers to solve complex technical problems.

In your role as an electrical technician, you will report to the business unit manager. The position is a permanent employment with good opportunities for professional development. The work is primarily during the day, but night and weekend work may occur.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone with experience as an electrical technician in the railway sector. You have relevant electrical engineering education and you are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a valid driver's license (B).

It is an advantage if you have:

• SoS Leader, TSM A, E, L, S - protection.

We expect you to take initiative and work independently, and that you are stable and stress-resistant. You enjoy working with others and see it as a given to pitch in when needed.
