Property Manager Wanted at Fortifikationsverket in Arboga

Fortifikationsverket owns, develops, and manages robust defense properties for peace, crisis, and war. With our unique expertise in defense properties, we create secure environments for a robust total defense.

Your Role as a Property Manager to Strengthen Sweden's Defense Capability

Region Mitt is one of Fortifikationsverket's six regions within the Management Department. We are about 115 people and are responsible for managing properties in eight counties in central Sweden. We are now looking for another property manager who can take responsibility for the management of our facilities. The position is based in Arboga, but our properties are spread across several counties.

As a property manager, you will be part of an office with about ten employees in Arboga. Our mission is to develop and preserve the properties and facilities while ensuring customer satisfaction and that the facilities develop according to set goals and plans.

The property manager is responsible for developing and enhancing the property portfolio as well as for customer contacts within the management area. The role focuses on planning and follow-up and does not include personnel responsibility. However, the property manager acts as an orderer towards the technical unit when implementing maintenance measures and towards the operations district regarding operational services. As a property manager, you also have full financial responsibility within the framework of management.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant education, having completed high school, preferably supplemented with higher studies, such as vocational or university studies focused on property and/or construction. Alternatively, you have other education that the employer deems relevant. It is also a requirement that you have experience in economic and technical management and have worked with budgeting and forecasting.

We also want you to have good knowledge of administrative IT support systems and have a good ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. A driving license (B) is a requirement, as travel is part of the job.

It is strongly meritorious if you have several years of experience working with fortification facilities at an authority within the defense family, and it is also meritorious if you have completed training in fortification.
