About the position

Do you want to help shape the path from prototype to efficient series production? We are now looking for an experienced Production Engineer for an assignment with one of our clients in Arboga. Here you will play a key role in creating modern, sustainable, and high-performing production flows. You will work closely with the business and drive the industrialization efforts, from planning and layout to the implementation of processes, tools, and methods that make a real difference.

Your main responsibilities

• Plan, drive, and follow up on industrialization projects and resource needs.
• Design, develop, and optimize production flows, layouts, and working methods.
• Ensure that tools and production aids are adapted for series production.
• Contribute to technical quality assurance and standardization of processes and working methods.
• Identify and drive initiatives in automation, digitalization, and smart production solutions.

Who are you?

• Solid experience in production engineering within series manufacturing or industrialization of complex products, preferably in the manufacturing, defense, energy, or machinery industries.
• Documented experience in leading the transition from prototype to series production.
• Very good knowledge of LEAN, 5S, and value stream mapping (VSM).
• Experience in layout work, flow optimization, and resource planning.
• Preferably experience with CAD tools for layout/simulation and ERP/MRP systems.

Meritorious:

Experience from operations with high demands on safety, traceability, and quality systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), as well as knowledge in automation, digitalization, Industry 4.0, MES systems, and production data.
