Your Role

As an ILS Engineer, you play a central role in ensuring high quality and long-term sustainability throughout the lifecycle of systems. You drive and support projects focused on lifecycle management, availability, and maintainability, working both independently and in close collaboration with project teams, systems engineers, and other specialists. Your contribution is crucial in creating effective maintenance and support solutions that contribute to optimized operational costs and high availability for complex technical systems.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing and analyzing ILS strategies and plans that meet customer requirements
• Ensuring that logistics requirements are integrated into system design to support maintenance and operations
• Contributing to system safety, operational reliability, maintainability, and testability
• Supporting procurement, technical documentation, and technical support
• Preparing maintenance plans, maintenance preparations, and spare parts preparations
• Leading and executing the work to deliver customized maintenance solutions throughout the system's lifecycle

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant technical education, preferably a high school or university degree with a focus on ILS, and at least 3 years of experience in similar tasks. You are accustomed to working with ILS-related activities such as maintenance preparation, documentation development, and maintenance concept development. You hold a valid driver's license and have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

With a strong interest in technology and an understanding of customer needs, you plan your own and others' work with a service-oriented and holistic perspective. Your methodical, meticulous, and analytical approach ensures that work is driven forward in a structured and efficient manner.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
