Job Advertisement: Land Surveying Engineer

Your Responsibilities

Do you want to work with measurements within the community building process? As a land surveying engineer with us, you will be part of the municipal land surveying authority and receive a varied and developing assignment. Based on your competence and experience, you will independently measure for land surveying proceedings and other assignments, create maps, and participate in efforts to improve the quality of the property register and the register map. The work involves performing field measurements using GNSS and total stations. You need to have knowledge of archive investigations and a good understanding of property formation. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the agency.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with a university degree in land surveying, cartography, community building, or another related field, or a vocational education or equivalent experience deemed comparable. You have good knowledge of property law, the property formation process, and building legislation, as well as a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. You are experienced with GIS and CAD tools and are generally comfortable in digital work environments. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of planning and community building processes and can independently perform measurements with GNSS and total stations. A driver's license (B) is required.
