ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is one of the largest technology consulting companies in the Nordics, with clients in defense, private and public sectors. In the unit you will belong to, they work with technically advanced solutions within radar systems, primarily for the defense sector. In the role of Maintenance Engineer, you will provide support primarily to the workshop during repairs and maintenance of components and products belonging to various forms of surveillance radar. Your work ensures that the right spare parts, instructions, and documentation are available to maintain a smooth delivery of fully functioning systems. In this role, you can expect to dive deep into advanced technology while building close collaborations with colleagues from many different areas of expertise, making the work both developing and varied.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The purpose of the role of Maintenance Engineer is to primarily support the workshop's mechanics and technicians, but you can also expect to be involved in projects where your maintenance expertise is needed. This work includes the following responsibilities:

  • Documentation and updating of maintenance instructions.
  • Driving improvement work to optimize processes and routines.
  • General preparation and planning of maintenance work for the workshop.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to mechanics and technicians during repairs and maintenance.
  • Managing materials and information in the ERP system to ensure access to spare parts.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a completed post-secondary education as a Maintenance Engineer or equivalent.
  • Has a good understanding of components in mechanics and electronics.
  • Fluently speaks and writes in Swedish.
  • Has good computer skills.
  • Has a B driver's license.
