Job Description

Do you love when theory meets practice? We are looking for a production planner for our client who wants one foot in the digital system and the other in the reality of production. At Uponor, you will be part of a self-managing team of four people where you will work together to optimize flows. You have a great opportunity to drive improvements independently as well as a team through your sense of responsibility. Are you a problem solver with experience in production planning and systems like Oracle or SAP, and are you also a confident and communicative person? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Start: by agreement

The assignment is a temporary position for approximately 12 months to replace a parental leave.

Working hours: Daytime, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks

Will be to plan and prioritize together with the team to best ensure delivery to our customers. You are responsible for developing and following up a detailed production plan in your flow. The flow consists of several steps. You are also responsible for ensuring that BOM and Routing are correct in our ERP for your articles.

·       Create and follow up the detailed plan/production plan for your flow

·       Update master data for material consumption, lead time, and flow (BOM + Routing)

·       Conduct inventories and identify deviations and make corrections that ensure correct inventory quantities

·       Be part of the team that solves problems that may arise in production regarding Oracle or between Oracle and MES

Your team

You are part of a team of a total of four people and report to the Operations Manager. You work closely together and strive to optimize the management of production flows. The team is self-managing, and you have great opportunities to drive improvements independently as well as a team through your sense of responsibility.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role

We see that you have at least a couple of years of experience working with production planning in a multi-step flow. You also have experience working in planning systems/MES and in ERP. Uponor uses Oracle as ERP, so it is advantageous, but experience in e.g., M3 or SAP also works well.

You need to have good knowledge of Office 365, especially in Excel. Also, good knowledge of Swedish and English as you will have a lot of contact with production, as well as contact with the global planning function.

You as a person

Find it easy to work independently, coordinate, and prioritize different tasks. You are communicative, curious, and like to ask an extra question to understand the connection between what happens in production and Oracle and MES. You find it easy to create networks and trust in your surroundings. You have the ability to see the whole picture and not just the details.
