Constructor in Pipe Construction and Concrete at Norvatek in Västerås

Norvatek is looking for a technically skilled constructor with experience in pipe construction, preferably in combination with prefabricated concrete. With us, you will work closely with both design and production – in an environment where knowledge, quality, and community permeate everything we do.

About the role

As a constructor at Norvatek, you will be a key person in the entire process – from design, dimensioning, and construction to prefabrication and assembly of pipe systems. You will work with both standardized solutions and customized constructions for concrete pump stations. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, production, and assembly. You will contribute with technical expertise, advice, and problem-solving abilities in all project phases. Your main responsibilities:

• Design pipe systems and concrete houses for water and sewage pump stations.
• Perform flow calculations and develop efficient, reliable solutions.
• Produce review, construction, and as-built documents.
• Ensure that drawings, components, and assembly meet Norvatek's requirements and industry standards.
• Stay updated on industry developments, materials, and technology.
• Support colleagues in projects, production, and sales with technical advice.

About you

We are looking for someone who is structured, attentive, and collaborative. You thrive in the role of a problem solver, take responsibility, and work purposefully to find practical and sustainable solutions. You value collaboration and contribute to an open, unpretentious climate.

You will be based at our office in Västerås and work closely with production, giving you a unique insight into how our products are manufactured and used in reality. Since we have offices in several locations, some travel is expected – something you see as a natural part of close collaboration between our units.

We would like you to have:

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience (at least 3 years) in construction, road & water, water technology, or similar.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience in dimensioning pipe systems and/or concrete houses.
• Practical experience in concrete manufacturing or water and sewage assembly.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.
• Driver's license and a strong technical interest.
