Operator for Nuclear Production at Westinghouse

We are now looking for a meticulous and responsible operator for nuclear production at Westinghouse with work in a five-shift schedule.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an operator for nuclear activities at Westinghouse. In this role, you will work with process monitoring in the manufacturing of uranium powder and pellets for cartridge production. The work includes changeovers and enrichment swaps, as well as performing operator maintenance. You will follow established work orders, conduct testing, and work according to 5S to ensure quality, order, and safety in production.

The position involves shift work in a five-shift schedule, which requires responsibility and good teamwork skills.

About You

We are looking for someone with a technical vocational education or equivalent, preferably with experience from industrial operations. You are accustomed to working in a structured manner, following written instructions, and have a strong focus on safety and quality.

You also have good computer skills, with proficiency in the Office suite being a requirement. Experience with SAP is an advantage. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Previous experience with shift work, preferably five-shift, and a clear process orientation are also advantageous.

About Employment

The operator position is a consulting assignment. The position is part of our staffing services, which means you will be employed by us at Adecco but work on-site with the client. The employment is full-time. The assignment starts in February and runs for 6 months, with good opportunities for permanent employment with the client.
