Do you want to work closely with production, drive improvements, and take on a technical leadership role in intralogistics? We are now looking for a Senior Logistic Developer for an exciting assignment within Production Engineering – Intralogistics in Västerås. Here, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient flows, stable production, and continuous development📦

🔍About the assignment

In this role, you will work operationally close to production and lead logistical and production-related engineering activities. You will be an active part of daily production, participate in morning meetings, and drive cross-functional problem-solving. The focus is on flow optimization, method development, capacity planning, and ensuring that working methods, processes, and systems support production in the best possible way.

🛠️Your main responsibilities
  • Daily production support and logistics development

  • Drive root cause analyses during line disruptions

  • Develop and follow up on methods, processes, and working methods

  • Flow optimization, line balancing, and layout work (AutoCAD)

  • Produce technical documentation, instructions, and process descriptions

  • Develop and maintain the Engineering Dashboard

  • Be responsible for tools, equipment, and logistical system requirements

  • Ensure compliance with standards and internal guidelines

📊Projects & leadership

You take ownership of tasks in projects and ensure timely delivery with the right quality. In some areas, you act as a technical project manager, planning resources, time, and budget while leading small to medium-sized teams.

🎯Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is senior in logistics/production and enjoys a role that combines operational presence with strategic improvement work. You are structured, analytical, and confident in taking the lead in both daily operations and projects.

To succeed in this assignment, we would like you to meet the following requirements:

  • Must have a university degree in logistics, production engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent relevant technical education.

  • Must have at least 5 years of documented experience in production engineering, intralogistics, or production-related logistics in an industrial environment.

  • Must have documented experience in process development and method work within production or logistics.

  • Must have experience working with logistics and/or production-related IT systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, MES, or equivalent).

  • Must have fluent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

📍Assignment facts

Assignment period: February 2, 2026, to June 30, 2026 (possibility of extension)

Scope: 100% Full-time

Location: Västerås (on-site)
