Your Role
Are you meticulous, service-oriented, and technically interested? Do you also have prior experience working customer-focused in a team? If so, you may be exactly who we are looking for as we recruit a new colleague to our Maintenance Program and Parts Data section.
In the role of ILS Engineer within Aviation and Airworthiness, you will primarily participate in contracts with our customers, the Swedish Armed Forces (FM) and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). You will be part of a team working with several areas, such as maintenance plans and Technical Orders in Saab's internal support systems and deliveries to customers. We work on larger projects within Saab AB and collaborate closely with our system engineers in design, production, and aftermarket areas. Your main tasks will lie within an agreement covering Weapons and External Stores for our Gripen platforms.
You will belong to the CAMO and Logistic Services Division within the Aeronautics business area. Our team provides both technical and chemical support to our customers. The Aeronautics business area is an innovative provider of world-class aircraft systems and offers a wide range of support solutions in both civil and military aviation. Research, development, and production of military aircraft systems are conducted within the area, along with future studies preparing for future manned and unmanned flight systems and the further development of existing products.
The CAMO and Logistic Services Division consists of six sections and has approximately 120 employees located in Linköping, Arboga, Såtenäs, Järfälla, Luleå, Växjö, and Uppsala.

The primary work locations are Linköping, Arboga, or Uppsala, but other locations may be considered depending on the candidate. The position involves some travel, primarily domestic.
Main Responsibilities:
- Compile background material and technical documentation.
- Implement changes and update existing documentation.
- Deliver technical publications internally at Saab as well as to customers such as FMV and the Swedish Armed Forces.
Your Profile
For this position, we are looking for you who:
- Have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a listening and flexible manner.
- Are meticulous and place great importance on meeting established quality requirements.
- Take initiative and naturally structure and drive your processes to completion independently.
- Are positive, flexible, and to some extent stress-resistant.
Requirements for the position:
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in working with Windows or similar structured systems.
- Experience in working with customer-related issues.
Merits:
- Experience working in FMV's or the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems, e.g., Teamcenter.
- Specific experience with PUMAX is particularly advantageous.
- Experience in image handling.
- Experience in writing and documenting according to Standardized Technical English (STE).
The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance procedures applicable at the time. For positions where Saab requires security classification, citizenship requirements may apply in certain cases.
