About the role – Change, structure, and manage

Do you have an eye for flows, logistics, and how to transform a business with overgrowth into a structured, efficient production?

Saferoad in Köping has grown rapidly, and right now, there is a strong focus on organizing the warehouse, optimizing flows, and preparing the business for a major ERP system change to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC), with a planned go-live in autumn 2027.

As a Production Developer, you will be the hub connecting the physical flow on the floor with digital administration. This is a broad and visible role where you are expected to analyze deficiencies, present conclusions, and independently drive improvement projects to completion. You are expected to establish and document the routines and processes that are currently missing. You will have close contact with production engineers, design, purchasing, and the warehouse.

Your main responsibilities:

• Flow and warehouse optimization: Align the total flow between warehouse, time, and capacity. Investigate time consumption for different tasks, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and ensure measures are implemented quickly.
• Structure and digitize: Build, structure, and document routine descriptions for administration and production that are currently missing.
• Drive improvement projects: Lead internal projects regarding warehouse control, production, follow-up, and structure.
• ERP system implementation: Play an active role in the preparations, implementation, and management of the new ERP system BC (Business Central) in the production and logistics modules.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you are a senior profile with strong analytical skills and documented experience in independently driving projects from start to finish. You have a fast track in your head for LEAN thinking and can quickly sort and prioritize what gives the best effect.

Saferoad has a tightly knit production team with low staff turnover. We are looking for you who is a skilled relationship builder, a secure and inclusive leader who can combine a clear mandate with an open and welcoming approach. You have the patience required to drive change, and you do it in a smooth way that preserves the good atmosphere.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education: University degree in Engineering (preferably within logistics, production, mechanical engineering, or automation) or equivalent experience acquired through work.
• Experience: Several years of experience in production development, flow logistics efficiency, or project management within manufacturing industry.
• Analytical skills: Habit of analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and packaging/presenting them clearly to management and employees.
• System understanding: Experience with Monitor ERP, Business Central, or similar production and logistics systems is highly meritorious.
• Perspective: You are ready to commit to 3–5 years to be part of the entire change and management journey that Saferoad has ahead of it.
