Quality Technician – Recotech

We are looking for someone who sees quality assurance as the key to delivering high-quality products in a growing industry

What are we looking for?

You are a key person in the quality assurance of our products. As the customer's first point of contact in the business, you are available for complaints, customer specifications, or other inquiries. The main area of responsibility is to conduct deviation analyses, root cause analyses, and other measures that lead to quality-enhancing work, increased quality awareness in the organization, and improved quality performance in the long term.

In this role, you will support production by addressing internal quality issues and training employees on customer requirements and standards, aiming to contribute to an increased understanding of quality throughout the organization. You will have the opportunity to create and implement processes, drive changes, and improvement work with support from management and colleagues, focusing on customer benefit and efficiency.

Who are you?

You are a communicative person with a strong will and interest in driving your work forward while creating involvement among your colleagues. You enjoy working closely with production in a broad role. You approach challenges in the quality area systematically and with good analytical skills, taking the initiative to implement and change working methods.

To be successful in this role, we see that you have a post-secondary education in technology. You have several years of experience working in quality within the manufacturing industry and have good knowledge of reading technical drawings. You have previously worked with Monitor, 8D, and 4M analyses. You are also familiar with ISO 9001. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the defense or automotive industry and have knowledge of ISO 14001.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement, and we may conduct a background check.

Who are we?

Recotech AB is a former wholly-owned subsidiary of the Fortum group and was formed from the restructuring of Volvo Aero Support when they moved their production to Trollhättan. We are located in Arboga and currently have about 95 employees, and the company is in a growth phase.

Recotech's idea is to make repair and manufacturing technology, which was previously only available for aircraft engine maintenance, usable and profitable for various types of industrial operations. With the help of Recotech, you can perform repairs without having to pay high prices for spare parts or depend on machine suppliers' aftermarket. We have unique processes such as thermal spraying, vacuum soldering, machining, and assembly.
