Automation/Electrical Technician to Virsbo

Do you want a key role in a production where your skills make a real difference every day? Jennmar Sweden in Virsbo is now looking for an Automation/Electrical Technician to start immediately.

We are about 60 employees who work closely together, help where needed, and have a strong customer focus. In Virsbo, we produce expandable rock bolts (Virsbolt) for the mining industry. Jennmar Sweden is a subsidiary of the American company Jennmar, and we are moving forward to offer more of Jennmar's products to the European market.

About the role

As an Automation/Electrical Technician with us, you play a central role in ensuring a stable and efficient production. You work both operationally and developmentally with automation and electrical solutions in our industrial environment, with a strong focus on operational reliability and improvement work.

Your main tasks include:

• New installation, programming, and commissioning of machines.
• Advanced troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
• Establishing, updating, and quality-assuring electrical and machine drawings as well as technical documentation.
• Initiating and driving improvement work related to operational reliability and efficiency.
• Ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with applicable legal requirements regarding electrical and machine safety.

The role offers a varied everyday life with many points of contact, both internally and externally. You report directly to the site manager and have close collaboration with production and other functions.

Your background

We are looking for someone with at least 3–5 years of experience as an Automation/Electrical Technician who is solution-oriented and structured. You have a good ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.

We see that you have:

- Experience in programming, new installation of machines, project management.

- Very good knowledge of PLC, automation, frequency controls, and machine safety.

- Experience working in several technical systems, for example: Autocad, Vault, Cedoc, Siemens I10, PLC.

- Post-secondary education in Automation/Electrical Engineering.
