Your Role

We are looking for an experienced and analytical maintenance engineer with deep expertise in avionic electronics and advanced troubleshooting at the component level. You will work with complex systems in technically demanding environments where reliability, traceability, and precision are crucial. This is a role for you who enjoys working closely with technology and is motivated by solving advanced problems in depth.

As a maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for analysis, troubleshooting, and verification of advanced electronic systems. The work is conducted at the component level and includes both analog and digital functions as well as RF and power-related subsystems. You work methodically and structured in an environment with high demands on documentation, compliance with standards, and technical accuracy.

The role involves both practical laboratory work and technical analysis related to failures, deviations, and improvement measures. You are expected to independently drive troubleshooting from symptoms to verified root causes. You regularly work with advanced measuring equipment such as spectrum analyzers, VNAs, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers to analyze signals, disturbances, and transmission characteristics in complex systems.

Your main tasks include:

• Perform advanced troubleshooting at the component level in complex electronic systems
• Interpret, analyze, and verify measurement results from qualified measurements
• Conduct technical investigations and root cause analyses
• Ensure correct documentation, traceability, and verification
• Contribute to change management and technical deviation management

The role also includes troubleshooting of power and power supply solutions, such as linear and switched power supplies as well as DC/DC and AC/DC converters. You analyze problems related to noise, ripple, transients, stability, and startup sequences, ensuring that protection and feedback functions work correctly.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with solid experience in electronic troubleshooting at the component level and who feels comfortable working with technically complex systems in regulated environments. You have a deep technical understanding and the ability to translate theory into practical analysis.

We see that you have:

• Several years of experience in advanced troubleshooting within electronics
• Very good knowledge of analog and digital electronics
• In-depth understanding of RF/HF technology and signal integrity
• Good insight into EMC/EMI issues, grounding, and return currents
• Documented experience in troubleshooting power supply solutions

It is highly meritorious if you have experience from the defense, aerospace, or space industry, especially in operations with high demands on:

• Traceability, verification, and structured documentation
• Robust construction for extreme environments (temperature, vibration, EMC)
• Lifecycle management, change control, and technical deviation management

As a person, you are structured and methodical in your work approach, with high accuracy and technical integrity. You work independently and feel comfortable in complex technical environments, while being clear and professional in your documentation and reporting.
