Do you want to play a key role in ensuring an efficient and reliable flow throughout our internal supply chain? We are now looking for a Supply Chain Team Leader who wants to drive production and delivery planning, help develop our processes, and push the work forward in a dynamic and manufacturing environment.

Surahammars Bruks AB was founded in 1622 and we are Scandinavia's only manufacturer of electrical steel, a material that is essential for efficient and environmentally friendly generation, transmission, and use of electric power. The largest customer group is manufacturers of motors and generators. We currently have 105 employees with our headquarters and development department in Surahammar.

About the role

As the Supply Chain Team Leader, you are responsible for the overall production planning and master planning. You plan and manage the entire chain – from purchasing and raw material needs to final delivery to the customer. In this role, you continuously work to optimize our processes, systems, and working methods to create an efficient and well-functioning flow where delivery to the customer is the prioritized goal.

You collaborate closely with the transport department to ensure smooth deliveries, and you are responsible for inventory management and optimizing inventory levels for both delivery reliability and capital binding. Together with the sales department, you work on forecasts and demand patterns to match production with customer needs, and you also participate in customer meetings regarding delivery planning.

The role also includes maintaining good relationships and clear communication with suppliers and logistics partners, as well as close collaboration with the quality department to ensure that orders are released on time. You will also actively work on system and process improvements, including in Monitor.

Who are you

We are looking for someone with experience from a manufacturing environment and similar tasks. You have worked closely with operations and have a good understanding of processes and flows. Since the position involves many points of contact, we see that you are communicative, flexible, and confident in coordinating and leading. You thrive in a day-to-day environment where the pace can change, are comfortable handling a high tempo, and see collaboration as a natural part of your work.

Furthermore, you speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.

If you have a post-secondary education in logistics, warehousing, or a related field, as well as experience working in Monitor, we consider it an advantage.
