We are looking for a logistics developer for our client in Västerås.
Responsibilities
Daily support to production

Work with production support and drive logistics technical activities.
Participate in the morning meeting structure and contribute to cross-functional problem-solving work.
Participate in ensuring correct item management in production.
Support production by describing existing processes and working methods.
Follow up on disruptions in the production line and ensure that root cause analyses are conducted.
Monitor that methods and processes are followed by operators.
Set requirements for logistics systems to optimally support production.
Develop and maintain an "Engineering Dashboard" within your area of responsibility.
Be responsible for the purchase and installation of relevant tools and equipment.
Lead method-related activities.
Perform minor line balancing activities and flow optimizations according to established methods.
Produce relevant technical documentation to support production's working methods.
Maintain layout in AutoCAD.

Methods and processes

Manage and further develop existing processes in the business together with the team.
Own and be responsible for processes to ensure compliance with standards, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines.
Identify deficiencies in the business and work systematically with improvement projects.
Document existing and new work routines, processes, and other necessary documents within the area of responsibility.
Be responsible for capacity assessments over time for assigned logistics areas and flows.

Projects

Own and drive project tasks to ensure delivery on time and with the right quality, and report any deviations to the project and responsible manager.
Act as a technical project manager within your area of expertise and lead a medium-sized team responsible for schedule, resource allocation, and budget.

Competence development and strategic work

Develop and maintain knowledge of logistics processes and methods within PNTL's support to production.
Manage proposals for the development and improvement of tasks within logistics.
Plan and prioritize strategic activities related to logistics line support within PNTL.
