GKN Aerospace is now looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer for their Rotating Parts department, where you will be responsible for ensuring robust, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes.
Your Responsibilities
In the role of manufacturing engineer, you are a key person in the value stream of Rotating Parts. Your task is to deliver manufacturing technical expertise with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery in an environment with high demands for precision and reliability. You drive process development, industrialization, and continuous improvements while working closely with production, engineering, and customers.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
Ensuring manufacturing technical delivery and support throughout the production chain.
Developing, industrializing, and improving manufacturing processes for rotating components.
Participating in startups, investments, and implementation of new equipment and processes.
Conducting production preparation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
Providing technical support for deviations, process stabilization, and change management.
Coordinating method technology, CAM/NC programming, and tools and fixtures.
Your Profile
We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with strong technical competence and a quality focus, who wants to drive process improvements and industrialization in an environment with high demands for precision.
We also see that you:
Have a degree in engineering (college/university) in a relevant technical field (or equivalent competence acquired through experience).
Have experience in industrial metal manufacturing.
Are accustomed to working in high-quality environments with tight tolerances.
Are self-driven, analytical, and solution-oriented.
Are a team player with a clear focus on quality and collaboration.
Have the ability to drive technical issues from analysis to implementation.
Have a valid driver's license (B).
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Desirable Competencies:
CAM/NC programming and method technology
Tool design and tool introduction
Lean, Six Sigma, or Zero Defect work
Experience from the aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries
