Production Engineer for exciting assignment in the railway industry in Västerås

Do you want to work closely with production, drive technical solutions forward, and be part of a team where collaboration is crucial every day? We at Mprowe are now looking for a Production Engineer for a consulting assignment with a leading player in the railway and vehicle industry in Västerås.

About the assignment

You will be part of the Production Engineering department, a team of about 25 colleagues who work closely with production to ensure that designs and technical solutions work in practice.

In this role, you will connect drawings, instructions, and reality. When something does not work as intended, you will analyze, suggest solutions, and ensure that work can continue. The pace varies and the challenges shift, allowing you to continuously develop in line with the assignment.

The role involves being the link between design and production.

You will, among other things:

• Support production in technical issues and urgent problems
• Handle material deviations and interpret drawings/instructions
• Analyze deviations and propose sustainable solutions
• Update documentation and drive improvements.
• Maintain close communication with production, other departments, and your team within Production Engineering.
