Property Manager at Regionfastigheter

Responsibilities

As a property manager, you will be responsible for issues related to the management of Region Västmanland's properties. Some of your key tasks will be to act as a property owner representative based on set operational goals and to ensure that our internal and external customers are satisfied and have suitable premises.

You will also be the client for renovation projects and actively work to develop cost-effective, operationally adapted solutions in close collaboration with our customers. The assignment also includes participation in the development of governing documents and the management and renegotiation of contracts within the area of property management.

About the Workplace

Region Västmanland owns a property portfolio of approximately 450,000 square meters (BTA), which is managed, developed, and operated by Regionfastigheter. The portfolio mainly consists of healthcare facilities and includes two acute hospitals (Västerås and Köping), two local hospitals (Sala and Fagersta), health centers, psychiatric clinics, folk high schools, and administrative offices.

Your workplace will be in Västerås, where you will be part of the Management Unit with 14 employees in property and technical management, system management, CAD, and administration. We are a close-knit team and have fun together. Regionfastigheter also consists of a project and operations unit, with a total of about 90 employees.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in property management or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have several years of experience in property management and good knowledge of budget work and financial follow-up. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of rental law, technology, and systems such as Faciliate and Agresso. Experience from public operations and familiarity with project work is also a plus, as we are a project-oriented client organization. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

You are self-driven, take initiative, and push your work forward with a focus on results. Collaboration is a given for you. You easily build good relationships, are attentive and clear in your communication. You have good self-awareness, thrive in complex situations, and remain calm even under pressure. Employment Conditions

Permanent position, full-time. Start date by agreement.
