About the Assignment

We are looking for a Logistics Developer to strengthen a Production Engineering Intralogistics function in an industrial production environment. You will work close to operations, supporting daily production while driving improvements in logistics methods, processes, flows and supporting systems.

The role combines hands-on line support with structured process development and participation in improvement initiatives and projects.

Job Description
  • Provide daily production support and lead logistics engineering activities in your area.
  • Participate in daily meeting routines and contribute to cross-functional problem solving.
  • Support and maintain article handling and related care in production.
  • Describe and clarify current processes and ways of working to support production.
  • Monitor line disturbances and ensure proper root cause analysis is performed.
  • Follow up that methods and processes are applied by operators.
  • Define requirements for logistics systems to best support production needs.
  • Develop and maintain an Engineering Dashboard within your area.
  • Purchase and install relevant tools and equipment within your scope.
  • Lead method-related activities.
  • Perform smaller line balancing and flow optimization based on defined methods.
  • Create technical documentation, instructions and process descriptions for production.
  • Maintain layout documentation in AutoCAD.
  • Manage and develop existing operational processes together with the team.
  • Own assigned processes to ensure compliance with standards, regulatory demands and internal guidelines.
  • Identify shortcomings and drive focused improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure capacity planning over time for assigned logistics areas and flows.
  • Take ownership of project tasks to secure delivery on time and with the right quality, and escalate deviations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as a technical project manager within your area when needed, coordinating a medium-sized team with responsibility for planning, resources and budget.
  • Propose, plan and prioritize strategic activities within logistics line support.
Requirements
  • Experience working with logistics engineering in a production/operations environment.
  • Ability to lead logistics engineering activities and support daily production.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and follow-up of production disturbances.
  • Ability to develop and maintain methods, processes and work instructions.
  • Experience creating technical documentation for production.
  • AutoCAD experience for maintaining layouts.
  • Ability to define requirements for logistics systems supporting production.
  • Capability to drive improvement work, including line balancing and flow optimization.
  • Experience taking responsibility for project deliveries; ability to act as technical project manager within the area when needed.
Nice to have
  • Experience in capacity planning for logistics areas and material flows.
  • Experience building and maintaining operational dashboards (Engineering Dashboard).
