GKN is now looking to strengthen its management team within the Material Solution Sweden unit with a Material and Production Planner who will focus on cast products and developing GKN’s supply chain.

GKN is in an exciting phase where the management team will support GEnx – a program for high-volume production of cast products in Hallstahammar, Kongsberg, and Trollhättan. The company is in a dynamic phase where both products and structures are under development, which requires a flexible and adaptable mindset within the organization. The position for the Material and Production Planner is located in Hallstahammar.

Your Responsibilities

As a Material and Production Planner, you have a broad role. You will be based in Hallstahammar, but regular travel to the facilities in Trollhättan and Kongsberg is required. Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting GKN Aerospace Investment Casting in Hallstahammar in establishing work methods for Master Scheduling, in collaboration with production team leaders

• Building systems and tracking the flow of products between the facilities

• Analyzing flows and capacity at the facilities, as a basis for MPS and SIOP cycles

• Designing and driving the expanding value stream, along with the associated inventory strategy

• Developing, leading, and facilitating the development and use of visualization tools

Your Profile

For the position of Material and Production Planner at GKN, we are looking for someone with several years of work experience in a similar role or a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management. We are looking for you who have:

• Good knowledge and understanding of ERP systems

• Good knowledge and experience of industrial standards and regulations

• Strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• The ability to travel regularly to Trollhättan and Kongsberg
