We are looking for an operations strategist as our current strategist transitions to an operations developer for primary education. The operations strategist belongs to the Education Office's unit for Strategy and Operations Support, which consists of 10 employees with various professions providing support to preschool, primary school, high school, and adult education, as well as to the governing body of the Education Office in Södertälje.
The operations strategist works with the knowledgeable and professional management team for primary education, which consists of the Operations Manager for primary education, the Deputy Operations Manager, and the operations developer.

Your responsibilities

The role of the operations strategist focuses on coordinating the overall administrative work of primary education. There are great opportunities to actively participate in and influence the ongoing development work within the operational area and the unit. Structures and annual cycles are in place to create support and good conditions for principals and their management teams. The systematic quality work has a strong focus on further developing analysis and methodology that ensures the quality of teaching is continuously improved.

Core tasks for the operations strategist within primary education include:
- Quality work, compilations, and procurement
- Coordinating and writing texts for committee matters.
- Compiling results, follow-ups, and analysis work.
- Preparing and compiling surveys and submissions.
- Coordinating and managing the systematic quality work of primary education.
- Participating in development work regarding system support for quality work.
- Managing referrals and investigations as well as state grants.
- Procurement, requirements specification, and implementation responsibility for system support for operations.

Coordination and administration:
- Introducing new principals to quality work, annual cycles, and routines.
- Collaboration between other units and departments within the municipality
- Managing follow-ups, forms, and annual cycles.
- Administration related to principal meetings, management teams, and training.
- Responsible for premises and services for meetings, training, and networking events.
- Editor for internal communication.

Who are you?

Requirements:
- You have a university degree in a relevant field.
- You are well acquainted with the governing documents in education and the fundamentals of quality work.
- We expect you to have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
- Experience in handling analyses, statistics, and working with IT systems.
- Experience working in public administration/politically governed organizations.

Meritorious:
- You have experience from primary education or other educational activities
- It is an advantage if you are familiar with learning platforms/IT systems
- Experience in coordination and simpler projects

Personal qualities:
- You are a secure and stable person with high personal maturity.
- You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks.
- You are analytical and have an investigative approach
- You are structured and meet deadlines.
- You have good collaboration skills and communicate constructively.
