The Role
We are now looking for a Key Account Manager who wants to work with future solutions in energy storage such as UPS, Power Generation, Power Distribution, and BESS solutions. With the help of our strong product program in batteries and chargers, you will be responsible for further developing our position in the Swedish market. You will act in a project-leading and consultative role where you propose the best solution based on the customer's needs and wishes. You will be responsible for the entire sales process from identifying new business opportunities to quoting and managing projects with customers until final delivery. An important part of the role will be to develop the business together with our customers and partners within emergency/backup power and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System). The position is preferably located at Exide's office in Mölnlycke, but there is an opportunity to work from another location in Sweden with a home office.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Building strong, profitable, and long-term relationships with existing key customers and understanding their specific needs and challenges.
- Identifying, establishing, and developing business models for new partnerships and customer segments.
- Managing contracts and commercial agreements, as well as revising prices and terms for our customers.
- Conducting successful negotiations at both national and international levels.
- Conducting budget and forecasting work with a focus on volume and price development.
- Analysis and follow-up of completed activities.
- Actively monitoring market trends, changes, and competitors to ensure that appropriate strategies are implemented and communicated.
- Identifying the optimal energy solution based on the customer's needs related to battery technology.
- Collaborating with other colleagues within sales, product management, and marketing.
- Working closely with technical sales support, logistics, service, product management, and marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with a well-documented experience in sales and business development with a relevant post-secondary education, preferably in electrical engineering. You are currently working as a Key Account Manager or Account Manager and have good experience in complex solution sales. We prefer that you have experience working with larger international customers where you have been responsible for customer-specific technical solutions. It is highly meritorious if you have experience in the industry. You have excellent language skills in Swedish and English and good IT skills and are familiar with CRM.
