Today, over 300 people work at Ekman, divided among about 40 offices with a global presence, including 60 people in Gothenburg. You will be part of the IT team, which consists of a total of 9 employees.

As a trading house, Ekman places great emphasis on development and improving processes and systems related to the business. Efficiency is high on the agenda. An important issue is also the employees' opportunities to learn and develop within the company.

There is now a chance to become part of the IS/IT department. The need for a new colleague is based on a planned parental leave replacement for about one year. The assignment begins with a thorough introduction and handover where you will learn the business system, including its supporting processes, as well as other systems and processes that are part of the role.

About the role

In the role of Super User, your main tasks will be to support the company's business system. You will be the bridge between the users, the business system, and the business. You will also work with other internal systems, processes, and flows such as the intranet.

A lot of time will be spent with the users to understand their needs and how the business operates. Other main tasks will include training new and existing users. You will also work with quality assurance and data administration. The position will involve a high level of internal and external communication. Travel may occur in the job. You will report directly to the CIO.

• Be a link between users and the system provider
• Train users

• Administer data

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in customer service, workflows, and processes, for example as sales support, order administrator, customer service representative, or Super User
• Has a strong interest in systems and an understanding of flows and processes
• Has knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

If you have previous work experience in a trading house, it is a merit.

To fit the role of Super User, it is of utmost importance that you are structured and analytical with a good ability to understand flows, cause, and effect. You take great responsibility for your work and work purposefully to complete what you undertake. You also possess a high sense of service and meet both colleagues and suppliers with a positive attitude and energy. This also includes a good ability to listen and communicate. Furthermore, you are a person who enjoys working in a team and building networks.

As this is a supportive role, your presence in the office is required, thus there is no possibility for remote work (no hybrid/remote).

About the employment

This is a consulting assignment with employment at OIO. The need for a new colleague is based on a planned parental leave replacement for about one year.
