About the Position

In the role of purchaser, you will have a varied and stimulating job where you are responsible for ensuring that purchases are made efficiently and cost-effectively. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that materials and components are available in the right time and quantity.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute purchases of materials and components
• Negotiate with suppliers and establish purchase agreements
• Follow up on deliveries and ensure delivery precision
• Work with the business system Monitor for inventory management and purchasing planning
• Analyze market and price developments to optimize purchasing costs

Working hours are scheduled weekdays Monday to Thursday 06:45-16:15 and Friday 06:45-12:45.

The position is a temporary contract for 6 months with a chance of extension. You will be employed by DFDS Professionals AB and work as a consultant for our client. For the right person, there is an opportunity to be directly employed by the client company.

About You

To succeed in the role of purchaser, we see that you have previous experience in purchasing within the electronics industry and are familiar with working with the business system Monitor. You are communicative, structured, and have a good ability to collaborate with various functions within the company. As a person, you enjoy working together with others. You have a humble attitude and contribute to a positive work environment where respect and team spirit are in focus.

Requirements for the Position

• Relevant education in purchasing, logistics, or economics
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing work, preferably within the electronics industry
• Experience working with the business system Monitor
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Strong negotiation skills and analytical thinking

Mobile Consultant:

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work out at our clients. Being a mobile consultant means being employed by us at DFDS Professionals to perform work at client companies. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
