Job Description

At Continental Tires, we are now looking for a driven and customer-oriented individual who wants to become our next sales representative for “Commercial specialty tires” in southern Sweden. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in developing and driving sales in your area. You will work with a wide range of customers, from fleets and original equipment manufacturers to tire workshops, where you will offer solutions that keep their machines running and improve their economics.
In your role, it’s not just about selling products – you sell functions and sustainable solutions. Through consulting and needs analysis, you help customers use their tires and vehicles correctly to reduce wear and optimize performance. Our goal is to be the most forward-thinking tire company in terms of sustainable development and social responsibility. To support sustainable development in tires, we continue to drive innovative technologies and sustainable solutions throughout our value chain. With a future focus, we design, develop, and produce our tires. Tires that are known for safety, performance, and efficiency.
You will be part of our sales team where your main tasks will involve marketing and selling the company’s products and product solutions. The goal is to meet the customer’s and the company’s interests regarding quality, environment, and economy to the greatest extent possible. This is done through personal visits, informing, advising, and closing agreements with the company’s customers. In your role, you will be responsible for your own sales budget and results.
The role’s task is to sell competitive solutions and products at the right price and quality. This requires a creative and analytical ability. The role also requires a good understanding of the company’s overall offerings to the customer as well as knowledge of the market and competitors.
The position entails independent work where you have full ownership of your area and work with products and solutions that promote sustainability and cost-effectiveness. We are a dedicated team that works closely together to find the best solutions. You will plan and structure your own work, which involves traveling 2–3 days a week. Responsibilities
- Be responsible for sales in southern Sweden in the areas of Fleet, OE, and Replacement
- Build and maintain relationships with both existing and new customers
- Conduct needs analyses and offer tailored solutions for customers' operations
- Work consultatively and ensure that customers achieve more effective, safe, and sustainable results
- Communicate and collaborate with various customer groups, from drivers to corporate leaders
- Plan and structure your own work, with travel 2–3 days a week
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3-4 years of relevant sales experience with documented experience in B2B sales and customer relations
- Documented experience in technical product knowledge (industrial tires)
- Good economic understanding and ability to analyze and manage financial aspects
- Good computer and system skills
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Very good knowledge of English
- Willingness to travel for work
- Driver's license B
Preferred
- Experience from the industry
- Tire knowledge
- Worked in relevant industries
- Experience with business development solutions
