We are now looking for a support educator/care educator for our LSS operations in Everöd, Kristianstad municipality.

About the Assignment:

You will be employed by Samskapa Behandling AB with the main assignment for placement in our LSS units in Everöd.

Together with the young person, you will work for an individually tailored support in all daily activities and tasks such as providing support during school hours, cooking together with the young person, household chores, leisure activities, and strengthening the young person's abilities.

The young person, guardians, and clients are involved in the process. The goal is for the young people to lead a meaningful life with improved quality of life and to have learned social and practical skills. The assignment is characterized by a holistic approach, which requires close collaboration with social services, guardians, schools, internships, and other professional networks.

The central part of the work is to create development THROUGH the young person towards the goals in the implementation plan. It is also important that you can capture the essence of the goal work and have the ability to document it.

Information about the Position:

Placement: LSS Everöd

Working Hours: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Employment Rate: 75% - 100%

Start: Immediately

Employment Type: Permanent employment with a six-month probationary period

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone who is an educated support educator/care educator or alternatively a nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry.
• Work experience in similar assignments with children/young people within the target group for at least one year.
• Education and/or experience in low-arousal approaches and handling crisis situations.
• You must be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

• Training or short courses tailored for neuropsychiatry or other aspects of the described target group.
• Knowledge of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC)
• Knowledge of clear pedagogical methods (TEACCH, AAC, TAKK, or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of BBIC/IBIC
• Experience with various journal systems and quality management systems
