We are looking for an experienced finance and accounting consultant for a project within the real estate sector.

About the assignment:

• You will act as support to the company manager for one of the client's operational companies (OpCos), focusing on having a holistic perspective in accounting and ensuring correct processes for the client's financial reporting.
• The role involves actively participating in – and sometimes leading – projects and matters that arise, with the goal of maintaining high quality in accounting and ensuring compliance with both internal guidelines and applicable legislation.
• You will have an important collaborative role where you maintain continuous dialogue with other parts of the business, provide guidance on accounting issues, and contribute suggestions for improvements.
• You have overall responsibility for ensuring quality in the preparation, documentation, and reporting of financial information.

Requirements:

• You have experience from the real estate sector and working with transactions, which is a fundamental requirement.
• You possess very good knowledge of accounting and tax issues, including the Annual Accounts Act (ÅRL), the Bookkeeping Act (BFL), the Income Tax Act, the Value Added Tax Act, and have a basic understanding of IFRS.
• You express yourself well both orally and in writing, and are comfortable communicating both in groups and in individual contexts.
• You have a very good ability to collaborate with others and build good relationships internally and externally.
• You have previously worked with qualified accounting tasks and have an academic background, such as a business economist or equivalent.
• You are comfortable with IT tools and business systems and have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
