As one of our employees is leaving, we are looking for a nurse to join our team.

Närhälsan Brämaregården health center is a well-functioning clinic located in central Hisingen with approximately 12,600 registered patients. The clinic employs around 40 staff members with diverse expertise, including nursing assistants, nurses, district nurses, doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, and medical secretaries. Together, we form a stable workgroup in a welcoming work environment where you as a newcomer can feel secure. We value each individual and believe in creating a positive team spirit.

About the job

With us, you will have the opportunity to meet patients of various ages, backgrounds, and health conditions. During a workday, you will rotate through different workstations. Your tasks will include telephone advice, triage, sampling, and nurse consultations. You will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in everything from self-care advice to acute assessments.

As a nurse, you will work in a team with other professionals at the health center. Your tasks will also include supervising nursing students. We are keen to capture your specific skills and offer development opportunities through further education, networking, and clinic work. Today, we have several nurse-led clinics at the health center in areas such as asthma/COPD, mental health, diabetes, and hypertension.

About you

You are a licensed nurse with previous experience in primary care. It is desirable that you have experience with the AsynjaVisph journal system and telephone advice. A plus is if you have supervisory training. We also welcome newly graduated candidates to apply.

You take initiative and ideas to improve patient care and our work processes and care about providing a good reception to ensure our patients feel comfortable. You are meticulous, confident in making your own decisions, and have the ability to prioritize your tasks. In your work, you will meet many patients. It is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and willing to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and that it is natural for you to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and in-person visits. We would also like you to have an interest in digitalization and organizational development.

About the recruitment process

The selection process occurs in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Then, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
