The Care and Social Services Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a summer substitute within the Care and Social Services Administration. You will have the opportunity for an exciting job with variety in one of our home care groups. As a substitute this summer, you will have the chance to work on a fixed schedule during the holiday period.

You have a genuine interest in people, providing service, and creating security and joy for the elderly with dementia or somatic illnesses. You start from each individual's needs and conditions and have the ability to prioritize your tasks. Around you, you have a fantastic team of colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the responsible unit manager.

Work within home care means that you provide support, care, and assistance in the individual's home during day/evening/weekend, while work within the night patrol means that you work at night. The services you perform are planned in an individual plan, which means that the user's needs are at the center and guide your work. Work in home care is characterized by responsibility, exciting meetings, and interaction with other people.

In the security alarm organization, you provide support and service to users living in regular housing who request help via their security alarm. This also involves a fair amount of documentation in the operational system Treserva and communication via mobile phone and SMS.

You work on scheduled working hours during daytime, evening, or night, weekdays as well as weekends, with varying degrees of employment around 75-90%.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be able to work as a summer substitute with us in home care, you need:

• A valid criminal record check
• To understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
• Basic digital skills
• To be at least 18 years old
• A driving license is required in most units, otherwise, there is the option to cycle

It is meritorious if you have studied the Care and Social Services program or another education deemed equivalent. Experience from care and social services work is also meritorious. It is advantageous if you have a driving license. Note that education, experience, and a driving license are requirements in some operations.

Personally, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to other people in order to understand their needs and have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Finally, you take responsibility for your and common tasks with the users' best interests in focus.
