Ward 91

The Psychiatric Inpatient Clinic, forensic psychiatry, is seeking a nurse for Ward 91 with a focus on psychosis, which is one of four forensic psychiatric wards at Brinkåsen in Vänersborg.

The ward's mission is to treat and rehabilitate patients who have been sentenced to forensic psychiatric care with a focus on psychotic disorders and other psychiatric illnesses.

We work in care teams consisting of one nurse, two to three caregivers, and one social pedagogue. The ward has six care teams that work day/evening or only night shifts.

Job Responsibilities

We work in care teams based on case management and individually tailored care with our forensic psychiatric care process as a starting point. As a nurse, you will have overall nursing responsibility within the care team and be responsible for various medical interventions. We offer several training programs in forensic psychiatric care.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse or specialist nurse. We work in teams with other professionals here at Brinkåsen and maintain continuous contact with each other.

If you have experience in psychiatry, it is an advantage but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the ability to collaborate.

Clinical Foundation Year

As a newly graduated nurse, you will participate in the Clinical Foundation Year with regular mentoring conversations on the ward. Interviews will be conducted continuously throughout the application period.
