Company Description

AFRY offers services in engineering, design, digitalization, and consulting. We are dedicated experts in industry, energy, and infrastructure, creating value for future generations. AFRY has a global reach with deep roots in the Nordics. Together, we accelerate the transition to a more sustainable society.

About the Role

Material Solutions is a business unit where we want to push the boundaries of what we believe is possible. Our client is now building their organization to implement a range of challenging initiatives and needs to integrate various skills, currently seeking more production engineers. We are looking for driven and passionate employees who want to make a difference! Join us in influencing the sustainable transformation of the aviation industry and find a place where your career takes off in a world of immense opportunities to learn and grow.

As a Production Engineer (PME), you will work in a team within a value stream or project where your mission is, together with your team, to ensure that we deliver the right quality, at the right cost, and on time. You will work daily to ensure product quality and delivery, as well as more long-term with planned improvement assignments.

You will coordinate activities related to production preparation, tool manufacturing, tool design, method engineering, etc.

 The focus is on the development of products within additive manufacturing, where we strive for zero defects, which we achieve through a mindset with 100% focus on quality and with the help of quality tools such as PFMEA, SPC, and Problem Solving.

 Strong teams are fundamental to achieving our goals, so you will contribute with your expertise, curiosity, and team spirit to create a working environment with a winning culture.

 You will have close communication with operators and other engineers and technicians in daily work, as well as participate in discussions with customers regarding production technical issues.

 You will participate in technology development and industrialize new methods, processes, and working methods to meet strategies in the area and on the product.

Requirements

We are looking for a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge gained through experience. You have your own drive and a desire to learn new things, both in working methods and technologies. You enjoy working in teams, are fearless, and self-driven.

You do not give up until you have received an answer or found a solution. It is desirable that you are fact-oriented and have analytical skills to make logical reasoning and base decisions on facts. The work requires good knowledge of both Swedish and English, and therefore we see it as a requirement.

It is advantageous if you have worked in early phases of production and have knowledge of FAI and frozen processes. Additionally, it is positive if you have knowledge in welding, additive manufacturing, fabrications, non-destructive testing, surface improvement processes, and/or control methods. Knowledge of quality tools such as PFMEA, SPC, and Problem Solving is also meritorious.

Additional Information

You will work in interesting technical areas with varying tasks. Your personal development is central, and our goal is always to find the assignment that best fits you and your profile. With us, you will belong to a successful global company and work alongside inspiring and engaged colleagues.

We see every employee as an important piece of our collective success and actively work to create a developing and pleasant work environment through personal leadership. Above all, we have fun together!

We are continuously recruiting, so apply today! We do not accept applications via e-mail. We kindly decline direct contact from staffing and recruitment agencies as well as sellers of additional job advertisements.
